Anne Mepham is an evacuee teddy bear, and longing for love and security judging by the look in her very serious, black glass eyes. She is made from sandy-coloured, long-pile mohair, with wool felt paws that have had a little 'repair' on her travels.
Anne is wearing her Sunday-best coat of pure wool, which is beautifully lined with faux suede and fastened with four vintage mother-of-pearl buttons. She is carrying her gas mask and identity label, as well as emergency instructions in case she gets into trouble.
Hand-made in England by Canterbury Bears.
