Steiff's Leopold Teddy Bear is a lovely design from 1912 when Steiff and the popularity of bears were rapidly growing. He is made from the finest mohair in creamy white, with a slightly distressed finish. Leopold has a brown hand-stitched nose and individual claws. Airbrushing around his eyes and ears give him lots of expression. He carries a traditional growler in his tummy and he proudly bears his gold-plated Steiff button in ear and white & red tag.
Delivered in a Steiff gift box with numbered certificate of authenticity.
