The Shiba Inu is an ancient breed of dog originating in Japan and they are tough and agile little canines, which is represented clearly in this realistic Kosen soft toy Shiba Inu dog. It is made from the finest quality plush fur in foxy-red, with a white underside and muzzle. His tail curls nicely onto his back and he is compact and muscular, with a bright attentive face.
Kosen designers have an eye for detail and they study their animal subjects closely, making detailed drawings, then they create clay models and hand-craft each animal from up to 70 individual pieces of high quality fabric.
The safety eyes are made from top quality plastic and some are custom made, to ensure they are as realistic and lifelike as possible.
The animals are stuffed to ensure they maintain their shape over a long period and finally they are combed, embroidered and airbrushed, resulting in incredibly realistic and true-to-life toys.
