Steiff's Millie was carefully designed to have the look of an antique bear discovered in a cluttered attic. She is made from a vintage-effect mohair which is slightly sparse with a dark backing. Her paw pads have been lightly shaded to enhance the aged effect, while her stitched nose has a couple of dropped stitches where the mohair shows through.
Millie is fully jointed with a wobbly neck joint to complete the feel of a well-loved bear. She wears a ruffled collar made of felt and velvet.
