The Shibu Inu is one of the worlds oldest breeds of dog, originating in Japan. It is small and agile and copes very well with mountainous terrain and it was originally bred for hunting.
This realistic soft toy Shibu Inu black & tan standing dog by Kosen is made from high quality soft plush fur in black, tan and white and they have captured the fox-like face really well.
It has a long muzzle, black eyes, nose, mouth and claws. The tail is lovely and thick and curls over onto the back and he has a bright, attentive face.
Kosen designers have an eye for detail and they study their animal subjects closely, making detailed drawings, then they create clay models and hand-craft each animal from up to 70 individual pieces of high quality fabric.
The safety eyes are made from top quality plastic and some are custom made, to ensure they are as realistic and lifelike as possible.
The animals are stuffed to ensure they maintain their shape over a long period and finally they are combed, embroidered and airbrushed, resulting in incredibly realistic and true-to-life toys.
