Steiff first made children's rattles in 1897, and it's no surprise that bears with rattles were popular. This beautiful bear takes us right back to both Steiff's early days and to our own childhoods. He is made from a slightly sparse, grey-blond mohair, with soft felt paw pads and hand-stitched claws, mouth and nose. He has one of the kindest faces we have seen on a Steiff bear.
Rattle teddy bear does, of course, have a rattle in his tummy. He also wears a rattle on a cord around his neck. He is fully jointed and bears the Steiff gold-plated button in ear, exclusive to limited editions. Delivered in a Steiff box, complete with numbered certificate of authenticity.
