Steiff celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz film by releasing the wonderful Wicked Witch of the West Teddy Bear! She has carefully crafted features that pay tribute to the terrifying, but popular, villain of the classic film.
Steiff's Wicked Witch of the West is made from mohair specially dyed to match the green make-up worn in the film. Her hand-made, black satin gown is a replica of the film costume, complete with satin witch's hat. Even her broom (or 'besom') has been hand-made from straw. Around her neck she wears a medallion commemorating 75 years since the film's release, and on her face she wears a piercing expression!
The Wicked Witch Teddy Bear carries a gold-plated Steiff button in ear and will arrive in a Steiff box with numbered certificate of authenticity.
