Steiff's Archie teddy bear is an exact replica of a 1910 Steiff bear. Steiff's artists work incredibly hard to capture the style and spirit of early, original bears and Archie is no exception. He is made from the finest mohair in brass and he has wool felt paw pads. He is traditionally stuffed with Swiss wood wool shavings and carries a Steiff growler in his tummy
Archie teddy bear has an open, inquisitive face, with round, cupped ears, dark glass eyes and a hand-stitched nose & mouth. He wears a nostalgic cotton coat with sailor's collar, accented by a vintage-style quilted ribbon. In his ear he bears the special patinated steel Steiff button in ear that only Steiff replicas may carry. Delivered in a Steiff gift box with numbered certificate of authenticity.
