Steiff have taken inspiration from their first bears made in the 1900s to fill this bear with the magic, spirit, nostalgia and romance of Richard Steiff's first teddy bear creations. He has the finest coat of light brown mohair, with matching felt paw pads.
British Collectors Bear is fully jointed. His sparkling, deep set 'boot button' type eyes are filled with emotion and friendship. His hand-stitched nose and mouth convey a little smile. He wears a generous satin ribbon and carries a traditional growler in his tummy! Delivered in a Steiff box with numbered certificate of authenticity and bearing the Steiff gold-plated button in ear with special elephant motif for 2014.
