Steiff's 1908 Replica Teddy Bear has a lovely, enquiring facial expression! He has a slightly curly coat of sand-coloured mohair, with matching felt paw pads. He has large, round ears and a closely shaved muzzle. and unusual hand-painted, shoe button eyes.
1908 Replica bear has a growler in his tummy - 1908 was the first year that they appeared in Steiff Bears! He's fully jointed and hand-stuffed with traditional wood shavings. He carries the patinated steel Steiff button in ear, only found on Steiff replicas, and comes in a Steiff box, with numbered certificate of authenticity.
