Marco Teddy Bear from Steiff is a tribute to the Italian explorer, Marco Polo, who was the first to write in detail about his travels from Europe to the Orient. This bold and impressive bear has a coat of the finest sand-coloured mohair, over which he wears a sumptuous claret velvet cape, secured by a brass-buckled belt.
Marco bear brings along a brass, retractable telescope, along with a rolled map to accurately plan and navigate his next expedition. He is a fully jointed bear with wool felt paw pads. He carries the gold-plated Steiff button in ear with the special elephant motif that commemorates 110 years since the first Steiff buttons. Delivered in a Steiff box complete with numbered certificate of authenticity.
