Steiff is 135 years old in 2015! This 135 Year Jubilee Bear commemorates many years of bear and toy-making by taking us back to the very beginning - he holds a felt elephant with a colourful saddle - like those that Margarete Steiff made as pin cushions, then as children's toys, to start her toy business.
135 Year Jubilee Bear has a coat of the finest golden blond mohair, and has '135 Years' embroidered on his paw pad in golden thread. He has beautiful brown pupil eyes and a hand-stitched brown nose. His golden satin bow matches both his embroidery and his gold-plated Steiff button. A limited edition of 1880 in memory of the year it all began.
