The Sound of Music teddy bear from Steiff celebrates the golden anniversary of the classic film - yes, it has been 50 years since the 'Hills were alive' for the first time! She is made from soft, white mohair and dressed in the simple outfit we first see Julie Andrews wearing as Maria, when she sings and whirls on the top of the hills in the film's opening scene.
Sound of Music bear is fully jointed. On her paw pad she has the film's logo embroidered in blue to match her stunning eyes. In her tummy she carries a music box that plays the film's title song. She bears the famous gold-plated Steiff button in ear and comes in a Steiff box with numbered certificate of authenticity.
