The little felt elephant is an icon of Steiff's beginnings, when Margarete began making pin cushions that became popular as children's toys! To commemorate 135 since those days, Steiff introduce this beautiful Felt Elephant Ornament. The tiny wool felt elephant is encapsulated in a hand-blown glass bauble. The red saddle cloth is fastened with Rocailles seed beads and embroidered with the 'Steiff' logo in golden thread.
This lovely tribute is a limited edition of just 500. The elephant bears the Steiff gold-plated button in ear and red & white label, exclusively found on Steiff limited editions, and is delivered in a Steiff box, with numbered certificate of authenticity.
