Steiff Petsy 1928 Replica bear has a fascinating story. The original bear was designed by Richard Steiff in 1927 - a new design for a new age - and was named 'Buschy'. Steiff collectors didn't like the bear's name, so he was re-named Petsy and went on to be hugely popular.
Petsy teddy bear has a coat of the finest brown-tipped mohair, with traditional excelsior wood-shaving stuffing, blue glass eyes and a growler in his tummy. He's limited in edition to just 928 worldwide and will be delivered in a sturdy Steiff box, with numbered certificate. He bears a patinated steel button in ear and black & white Steiff label.
