Limited Edition of 1500
Bowtruckles appear as fictional characters in the film Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and they are also mentioned in some Harry Potter films.
The Bowtruckle is a hand-sized, insect eating tree dweller, that is immensely difficult to spot in a natural environment, as it can easily blend into any foliage. It appears to be made out of a tree stem, with roots, tiny leafy branches, long sharp fingers (two on each hand) and brown eyes. They look after their tree home and are usually peaceful and shy characters, but will become violent if anything threatens its tree.
One of the favourite Bowtruckles is called Pickett and others are called Titus, Finn, Poppy, Marlow and Tom.
Steiff have depicted this fantastic creature well, using the finest green wool felt and the eyes are made from glass. It is a limited edition of only 1,500 pieces and will make a very interesting edition to any collection!!
Also take a look at DEMIGUISE.
It has the famous "Button in Ear" and a white label, showing that it is only limited to 1500 pieces worldwide, making a very collectable bear.
