Little John is part of a new mini series called "The Folklores" series, where each character is a dressed animal and the detail on them is exquisite.
Little John is said to have been Robin's Chief Lieutenant and second-in-command of the Merry Men. His real surname was 'Little', which is quite ironic, as he was very tall - possibly 7ft!
Like Robin, he too was skilled at archery, but his best known weapon is his quarterstaff, which is a stout pole, about 6-8 foot long.
Charlie Bears have designed Little John as an elephant and this is a good choice, as they share the same traits and characteristics, e.g they are both big and strong and will do whatever they can to protect their loved ones.
The Isabelle Little John Elephant is made from luxurious 'elephant' grey alpaca and mohair and he has big, flappy ears, tusks and long trunk. Little John is an elephant with style, as he is dressed in a lincoln green tunic, with a brown collar, matching feathered hat, boot covers and a belt, which holds his legendary quarterstaff.
