Richard Steiff was a designer and inventor. As well as this, he had a penchant for tailored suits with stand-up collars and stylishly accentuated button plackets, which he wore with a white shirt. Made of the finest mohair, Richard Steiff Teddy Bear combines this elegance with technical finesses from 1905, the year in which Richard came up with the idea of disc-jointed arms and legs. Fittingly, Richard Steiff Teddy bear embodies both the great man's sartorial style and his innovative disc-jointed concept.
Limited to 1902 pieces
He has the famous gold plated "Button in Ear" and a white label with red writing, showing that he is only limited to 1902 pieces worldwide, making a very collectable bear.
