CHARLIE BEARS TOOTLES

Size: 16" (41cm)

Hedgehogs are really cute and the "Hedge" part of their name comes from where they build their nests in hedges, brushes and shrubs. The "Hog" part comes from the small snarling/grunting sound they make which is similar to a pig/worthog. Each hedgehog has 5,000 spines, but don't worry, Tootles, the Hedgehog isn't prickly, as he has really soft spikes, so can still be cuddled!

Tootles is made from soft, light brown fur that has light tipping and he has a long snout, brown hand-stitched nose and mouth and appealing eyes. His paws are sculpted and stitched and he wears a brown satin ribbon and bell pendant.

Tootles gets his name from "tootling", which means to travel in a leisurely way, just as real hedgehogs do, but if you want him, don't tootle too much..... rush off and order him and he will make an interesting addition to your collection and he doesn't hibernate, so can be on display all year!!

Tootles is from the Charlie Bears 2020 Collection.

Designed by Isabelle Lee and co-designed by Charlotte Morris
