The one surviving original example of this bear is 70cm tall and is owned by a bear collector in America. This one is a more modest 35cm (13¾") and made from the finest pale, curly mohair with caramel tipping. All of his features are authentic - he is stuffed with traditional wood wool with a growler in his tummy, his head is loosely jointed and he has beautiful glass eyes.
Teddy Bear Replica 1922 has a neatly shaved muzzle and artfully 'worn' paw pads, giving away his 1922 roots! He bears a patinated steel Steiff button in ear - exclusive to replicas and is delivered in a Steiff box, with numbered certificate of authenticity.
