The Akita is a large and powerful dog breed and was used for guarding royalty and nobility in feudal Japan. They were bred as a hunting dog and were later used for herding cattle, and as guide & police dogs.
This breed is renowned for unwavering loyalty to its owners and can be surprisingly affectionate with family members. An Akita is a natural guardian of his or her family. The don't usually bark, unless there is good reason, but they make amusing grunts and mumbles, which sounds as if they are talking to themselves!!
This realistic soft toy Akita dog has a lovely thick, dense coat of soft cream plush, with some shading on the forehead. It has dark brown ears, lined with cream fur and a dark brown muzzle.
This friendly dog is well trained and just needs feeding with love and hugs!!!
It has beans in it's bottom to give a little weight and will "SIT" nicely!
