Dempsey and Makepeace was a 1980's British television crime drama. James Dempsey was a streetwise, working class New yorker, who was paired with the elegant British nobelwoman, Sergeant Harriot Makepeace.
DEMPSEY bear was inspired by the above TV crime drama and the only crime happening now is if you don't add him to your collection!
However, you probably won't need much pursuading, as he has pale, long, olive coloured fluffy mohair fur, with a warmer backing material showing through, where the fur is a little sparse.  The stitching on his nose matches the colour of his suedette paws pads and he is accessorised with a string tie and button.  He has a really good weight to him and is loosely jointed, so can be posed in lots of different ways.
Dempsey is missing his partner, so will you be his Makepeace?
