CHARLIE BEARS GRUMBLEWEED - FROM THE QUEEN'S BEASTS SERIES

When Her Majesty the Queen of England was crowned in 1953, the entrance to Westminster Abbey was guarded by ten fantastical creatures in the form of heraldic statues that were 6ft high and weighed 50 stone each!
Each beast supports a sheild bearing a badge or arms of a family associated with the ancestory of Queen Elizabeth II. After the coronation, they were moved to the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec.
Charlie Bears have designed a stunning series to commemorate this and it's called The Queen's Beast Series.
Grumbleweed is a numbered Limited Edition of 2000.
Grumbleweed represents the Dragon of Wales, which is a beautiful heraldic dragon, associated with strength, wisdom and power and today is a proud symbol of all things Welsh.

He is made from different plush materials in various shades of green and has all the characteristics of a dragon from his fantastic wings, spines and horns, to the individual claws on each paw and the flared nostrils, including a heart pendant on a knotted cord - so what more could you ask for, as he really has it all!!
