Mardi Gras - also known as Shrove Tuesday - means "Fat Tuesday" in French and Is all about consuming rich foods ahead of Lent. In lots of places, this is commemorated by partying, carnivals, festivals and street parades. So what a fantastic bear to have such a fun meaning behind their name as MARDI GRAS is one vibrant character!
Their magenta fur turns to deep navy at the root and this has been shaved on their face to give them their rich blue complexion. With an ivory hand-stitched nose and toes, these details really pop.
MARDI GRAS wears a double organza bow as an accessory but has printed "stitches" running along the seams of the bows for extra detailing.
