Tom Foolery has been designed in the style of a jester, which was historically an enteratiner in the medieval and Renaissance eras, who was a member of the household of a nobleman or monarch, employed to entertain him and his guests. They also performed to commonfolk at fairs and markets and wore brightly coloured clothes and eccentric hats.
Another name for jester is fool.... so if you want TOM FOOLERY in your hug, don't be foolish, order him straight away, as there are only 300 worldwide!
He is made from treacle coloured mohair, which has been gently trimmed on the muzzle so that you can see his cheeky eyes peeping out. The bright hand-stitched nose makes a good contrast and he can stand un-aided. He has irridiscent pom poms on his tummy and has a ruff around his neck and wears a magnificent jester hat.
This playful fool will be on his best behaviour in your home and may even give you a laugh or two...... which can't be a bad thing!!
